Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said from last 11 years his government is working hard for the betterment of the each and every citizen of the society. He further said that his government is giving them all kind of benefits of the schemes without any discrimination which is true governance and true secularism.
Prime Minister was addressing a public rally in Lucknow on the occasion of 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Prime Minister inaugurated Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow which is constructed to honour the legacy of luminaries of independent India.
In his public address Prime Minister said that saturation of government schemes is motto of his government and now crores of poor citizen are getting benefit of them.
Remembering Bharat Rratn Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occassion, Prime Minister said that he took many initiatives which changed the development scenario of the country. He especially mentioned the initiative of Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojana and said that after year 2000, more than 8 lakh km roads were constructed under the scheme out of which 4 lakh km were built in last 11 years only.
Prime Minister came down heavily on congress for not doing justice to the national heroes and naming everything only after their party leaders.
Underlining the changed image of Uttar Pradesh, PM said that now the state is synonymous of development.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh along with Chief Minister of state Yogi Adityanath and other senior ministers of the state cabinet were present on the occasion.
In his address Defence Minister and Local MP Rajnath Singh said that Atal ji contributed a lot to the culture, society and politics.
