Rupee Closes at 83.53 Against US Dollar; Dollar Index Down to 105.28

In the forex market, the rupee closed at 83 rupees and 53 paise against the US dollar today.

 

The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies was down at 105.28 in intra-day trade.
