Rozgar Mela Held Nationwide; New Recruits Receive Appointment Letters Across Multiple Locations

In Maharashtra, the Central Railway hosted the Rozgar Mela at three major locations, including Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur, marking the third time it has conducted the event in multiple cities.

 

In Mumbai, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, distributed appointment letters to 189 new recruits at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Auditorium. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the critical role of government service in national development and expressed confidence that the youth would contribute significantly to strengthening the Indian economy.

 

In Nagpur, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari handed over appointment letters to 148 newly recruited candidates on behalf of the South East Central Railway Division. Urging the appointees to consider government service as a noble opportunity to serve the society and the nation, he asked them to fulfill their duty with honesty and dedication.

 

In Pune, Union Murlidhar Mohol, distributed appointment letters to 114 recruits at Koregaon Park, in the presence of senior dignitaries. Speaking at the event, he said that it is a matter of pride that our youth have been brought to the forefront of the development of this country.

In connection with the Rozgar Mela organised across the country, prgrammes were held at Sealdah, Siliguri and Kharagpur. New recruits who got appointment in various ministries were given offer letters during the functions. Total 449 were given appointment letters. Union Minister of State for Education and DONER Dr. Sukanta Majumdar handed over the appointment letters to 25 new appointees at Sealdah proramme out of 215 appointees. 155 appointment letters at Kharagpur and 79 appointment letters were distributed at Siliguri.

 

Union Minister for Parliamentary & Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju today highlighted the Rozgar Mela as a testament to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of connecting with India’s youth.
 
 
Addressing the Rozgar Mela in Dimapur, Mr Rijiju lauded the Prime Minister’s initiatives for youth employment and upliftment of the Northeast region. He encouraged recipients to see their roles not merely as jobs but as a service to building an Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat. The Minister also stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability to attract investment and sustain growth in the region.
 
 
 
Describing Dimapur and the Northeast as potential growth engines of India’s economy, Mr Rijiju urged the Northeastern state to rise in tandem and drive future prosperity, reaffirming his belief in the region’s bright future.
 
 
 
About 110 appointment letters were handed over physically at the event in Dimapur, while 239 more were shared via email. Nagaland’s Deputy Chief Minister Y. Patton, Rajya Sabha MP S. Phangnon Konyak, Advisor Imkongmar, along with senior officials from the Railways, Labour Ministry, ESIC, and security forces, participated at the event.
