Consumer Affairs Secretary Nidhi Khare today said that India’s retail inflation has stabilised since almost a year, which is essential to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. She said this while addressing 3rd Industry 4.0 Excellence Awards Ceremony, organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) in New Delhi. Ms Khare said that the country is witnessing a growth rate of 7 to 8 percent. She added that initiatives like Direct-Benefit Transfer, Unified Payment Interface (UPI), Aadhaar authentication and the recently announced GST reforms have brought a huge revolution. She also called on the industry leaders to join technical committees for formulating standards that not just align with international levels but also correspond to Indian conditions and environment
