Renowned litterateur and Jnanpith Award awardee, late Vinod Kumar Shukla, was cremated with full state honour today in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Shri Shukla passed away yesterday during treatment at AIIMS Raipur. He was 88.
Earlier, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited Shri Shukla’s residence in Raipur today and paid floral tributes to the departed soul after offering his last respects.
