This was stated in a written reply by the Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary in Lok Sabha today.

The Minister stated that the Union Finance Minister in her Interim Budget 2024-25 speech announced the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment 2024-25 with an allocation of One lakh 30 thousand crore rupees.

Under the Scheme, an amount of 75 thousand crore rupees is to be provided on completion of milestone-linked reforms by the State Governments in the citizen-centric and sector-specific areas.
