Batting first, Delhi Capitals got bundled out for 141 runs in the final over as RCB bowlers were in great rhythm. Jemimah Rodrigues scored the highest 34 runs for the Capitals. While for RCB, Renuka Singh Thakur and Georgia Wareham bagged 3 wickets each. In response to this, RCB managed to chase the score in the 17th over, with 8 wickets in hand. Destroying Delhi’s bowling line-up, skipper Smriti Mandhana and Danielle Wyatt-Hodge made an opening partnership of 107 runs.
