Global crude oil prices rose more than three per cent today as differences between the US and Iran on a proposal to end the conflict in West Asia pushed supply concerns back into the spotlight. Brent crude was trading 3.2 per cent up at 107 US dollars and 53 cents per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 3.3 per cent up at 101 US dollars 30 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.
