In Jammu and Kashmir, in a significant move to combat terrorism, the Ramban Police has attached immovable property of a Pakistan-based terrorist under section 83 CrPC under the jurisdiction of Police Station Banihal. The immovable property, i.e., agricultural land measuring 1 Kanals 1 Marla registered in the name of one PAK settled militant, namely Mohd Saleem of Takia Tethar area of Banihal tehsil and is absconding after the commission of the offence with a motive to avoid the legal proceedings, has been attached. The Court ordered the attachment of property after declaring him a proclaimed offender. The action marks a significant milestone in the ongoing investigation into unlawful and subversive activities in the region and highlights the dedication of the Ramban Police to neutralizing the threats to National security and maintaining peace and order.
