Rajasthan is celebrating the 77th Republic Day with pride and patriotic fervour. Governor Shri Haribhau Bagade unfurled the National Flag and took the salute of the ceremonial parade in state level Function organised at SMS Stadium in Jaipur. This year’s theme of the celebration has been kept as Vande Mataram @ 150. The grand parade showcased contingents from the police, armed forces, NCC, and various civil services, reflecting discipline, unity, and the rich democratic spirit of the nation. Cultural tableaux highlighting Rajasthan’s heritage and achievements added colour and vibrancy to the celebrations. Governor Shri Bagade honoured 17 brave personnel of the Rajasthan Police with the Police Medals in recognition of their outstanding courage, dedication, and exemplary service to the state.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Speaker of the state legislative assembly Vasudev Devnani, other dignitaries Senior state officials, and citizens were present on the occasion, making the event a fitting tribute to the values enshrined in the Constitution of India. CM Shri Sharma unfurled the Tricolour at his residence and Bari Choupad also.
