Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that Rajaji Utsav is a wonderful initiative, which brings out different aspects of C Rajagopalachari’s rich contribution to the nation. In a series of social media posts, the Prime Minister commended the Rajaji Utsav, saying that the effort reflects India’s resolve to honour those who shaped the destiny and to shed remnants of a colonial mindset. He noted that Rajaji was a towering scholar, freedom fighter, thinker and administrator. The Prime Minister added that Rajaji’s life embodied integrity, intellect and unwavering commitment to the nation. Mr Modi also urged the citizens to visit the Rajaji Utsav and get inspired.
