Rain in some districts of Uttarakhand, including the state capital Dehradun, today brought relief to people from the heat. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of thunder, lightning and strong winds at isolated places in the hilly districts of the state over the next two days. The state government has appealed to the devotees and tourists visiting for the Char Dham Yatra to remain alert and follow safety guidelines amid adverse weather conditions in the state.
