Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to flag off Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi Express today

A new express train service connecting Tirupati and Sainagar Shirdi will be flagged off today by Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw.
 
 
The inauguration will take place in the morning via video conferencing, with Andhra Pradesh Minister for Roads and Buildings, Infrastructure and Investments, B. C. Janardhan Reddy, attending as the Guest of Honour at Tirupati Railway Station, according to a South Central Railway (SCR) release.
 
 
An inaugural special service will operate today from Tirupati at 11:10 a.m. and return on December 10, departing from Sainagar Shirdi at 10:20 p.m., while regular weekly services will commence from December 14 from Tirupati every Sunday at 4 a.m. and December 15 from Sainagar Shirdi every Monday at 7:35 p.m.   
 
 
The weekly express, Train No 17425/17426, will run via Gudur, Guntur, Secunderabad, Vikarabad and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, offering enhanced connectivity for passengers travelling between the spiritual towns of Tirupati and Shirdi, benefitting commuters across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra by providing a fast and comfortable travel option while strengthening pilgrim tourism and improve long-distance travel convenience while boosting tourism and trade across the route.
 
 
The train will have modern LHB coaches, including AC II Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second-Class coaches, catering to both reserved and unreserved passengers.
