The Qatar has sent its ninth letter to the United Nations, raising concerns over what it described as Iranian aggression on its territory. In the letter, the country said that from the beginning of the attack, on February 28, until March 16, 2026, its air defence systems intercepted several hostile aerial targets. It added that civilian injuries resulted from these attacks. The letter was addressed to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and to the United States’ Permanent Representative to the UN and President of the Security Council for March, Michael Waltz. It came as tensions across the Gulf intensified alongside a widening conflict involving energy infrastructure.
