In Punjab, 70 lakh students from over 35,000 schools across the state are being made aware of the life, supreme sacrifice & teachings of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji during the special morning assemblies. This is being done to instill the values of righteousness, truth and justice shown by the Guru Ji, in the young minds.
This 15-day mandatory Education Module started yesterday from Nursery to class 12th students will be carried till November 30th in all the schools irrespective of any education board.
As part of the series of events being organized by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, this session in morning assemblies has been launched to blend moral values and heritage into education, imbuing young minds with Guru Ji’s enduring legacy, says State Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains.
