Punjab Police, acting on specific intelligence inputs, have successfully foiled a major terror plot by apprehending two Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) operatives in Ferozepur today.

Two hand grenades and one pistol with live cartridges have been recovered from their possession.

Punjab Police Chief Gaurav Yadav, in a social media post, said that they were supported by Pakistan-based Babbar Khalsa International and Pakistan’s ISI. He said the accused were actively conspiring to target government establishments by using hand grenades.
