In Punjab, one worker lost his life after the roof of an under-construction factory collapsed in Ludhiana last evening. Out of the five workers rescued, three are currently under medical observation. Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal confirmed that 29 workers were present when the incident occurred, but most were safely evacuated soon after. A rescue operation is underway to evacuate two others workers believed to have been trapped under the debris. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with district civil and police officials, are continuing efforts to locate the missing workers. The health department has also deployed teams at the site to assist with the rescue and medical care.
