Punjab’s AAP government will present its fifth and final budget today before the next assembly elections. Coinciding with International Women’s Day, this will be the first time in the history of the Vidhan Sabha that the Budget will be presented on a Sunday.
Earlier on Friday, the Punjab Cabinet, cleared the presentation of Supplementary Demands for Grants for the year 2025-26 and Budget Estimates for the year 2026-27, along with CAG audit reports for the year 2024-25, in the ongoing budget session of the Vidhan Sabha.
The 11-day session started on March 6th with the address of Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria.
