The second part of the sixth session of the 15th Puducherry Legislative Assembly will begin on the 18th of this month.

Speaking to the media, Legislative Assembly Speaker R. Selvam said the House is expected to take up the Ease of Doing Business Bill and the second GST Amendment Bill.

The Speaker further said that a law to impose daily fines on officials for delaying file processing will also be introduced with the approval of the Central Government.

Mr.Selvam added that the session will discuss implementation of budget announcements, fulfilment of assurances and the demand for statehood.
