In Puducherry, the process of first randomization of Electronic Voting Machines and VVPATs for the upcoming Assembly elections has been completed. The machines were allocated constituency-wise as per the first randomization list. Officials carried out segregation of EVMs and VVPATs for each Assembly constituency and completed scanning using RMS 2.0 software. Following completion of the process, the EVM warehouse at Reddiarpalayam was sealed at 6:45 PM yesterday in the presence of representatives of political parties.
