Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the passing of Editor and Managing Director of The Assam Tribune Group, Prafulla Govinda Baruah.

In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that Baruah will be remembered for his contribution to the media world. Mr Modi further noted Baruah’s profound dedication to advancing Assam’s progress and his commitment to popularising the state’s culture.
