President, Vice President & Prime Minister lead nation in paying homage to Dr BR Ambedkar on 70th Mahaparinirvan Diwas

President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other dignitaries paid floral tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr BR Ambedkar, on Mahaparinirvan Diwas at the Parliament complex in New Delhi today. 
 
 
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a social media post said that Babasaheb’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to justice, equality and constitutional values continue to guide India’s national journey. He noted that Dr Ambedkar inspired generations to uphold human dignity and strengthen the foundations of democracy.
 
 

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda also paid their tribute to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that the life and thoughts of Babasaheb Ambedkar is an inspiration to countrymen. The Minister added that his contribution to the making of independent India is unforgettable.

 
 

In a social media post, Mr Nadda said that Babasaheb Ambedkar was a living school of democracy who dedicated his life to establishing an egalitarian society, social justice, and public welfare. The Minister added that by imbibing his ideals and principles, the country is moving towards a Developed India.
