President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have conveyed their greetings to all Indian Navy personnel, veterans and their families on the occasion of Navy Day. In a Social Media Post, President Murmu highlighted that from securing trade routes and strengthening the blue economy to leading humanitarian missions, the Indian Navy embodies discipline, compassion and responsibility.
On this occasion, Vice-President Radhakrishnan said that the Indian Navy stands as a symbol of the country’s maritime strength, vigilance, and commitment to safeguarding its national interests.
In a post on social media, Prime Minister Modi has recalled that he celebrated this Diwali with Naval personnel on board INS Vikrant and termed it unforgettable. Extending his greetings to all the Navy personnel, the Prime Minister said that the Indian Navy is synonymous with exceptional courage and determination. He further explained that the Indian Navy has focussed on self-reliance and modernization in recent years, enhancing the country’s security apparatus.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today wished the people on the occasion of Navy Day. In a social media post Mr Singh said that as the largest resident naval power in the Indian Ocean, the Navy continues to uphold India’s maritime interests with valour, vigilance and commitment to Aatmanirbharta, anchoring the country’s journey towards Viksit Bharat. The Minister added that the high standards of professionalism and commitment showcased by Navy and naval personnel over the last year, gives him confidence that the Navy stands ready to safeguard the country’s national maritime interests. He further wished the navy success for all their endeavours.
Union Home Minister today extended his greetings to the warriors of the Navy on the occasion of Indian Navy Day. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that the Indian Navy is the citadel of the nation’spride that stands on the ocean, bulwarking the nation from every threat with invincible valour and shielding the country’s growth through maritime routes. He added that the golden saga of patriotism scripted by navy personnel with ultimate sacrifice will inspire generations of warriors. Mr Shah also paid tributes to the warriors of the Navy who laid down their lives for the nation.
