President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C.P Radhakrishnan have paid tribute to Swami Dayanand Saraswati on his birth anniversary. In a social media post, President Droupadi Murmu said that Swami Dayanand Saraswati provided invaluable guidance to the entire society as well as to the country’s education system. She said that the country has been and will always continue to be benefited by the spiritual and educational institutions established by him. 

 

Vice President C.P Radhakrishnan said that Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati devoted his entire life to the struggle against superstition, ostentation, and social evils. He added that his efforts in the spread of education, the empowerment of women, and the preservation of Indian culture provided the nation with a new ideological direction and a sense of self-respect. Mr Radhakrishnan added that contributions to the establishment of a classless, caste-free, and egalitarian society, as well as the dissemination of high moral values, continue to serve as an inspiration for everyone even today.
