President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident in Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh. In a social media post, the President said that her thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. Meanwhile, the Vice President also extended his condolences to those who lost their lives in this tragic incident and prayed for those injured in the mishap. The Prime Minister announced an ex gratia of two lakh rupees from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund to the next of kin of each deceased. In a message, the Prime Minister’s Office informed that the injured would be given 50 thousand rupees. He also hoped for the speedy recovery of those injured.
