President of Mauritius, Dharambeer Gokhool, today visited the Sri Kanaka Durga Devi Temple in Indrakeeladri, Vijayawada. He was accorded a grand and traditional welcome by temple authorities and senior officials upon his arrival.

 

After darshan, Vedic scholars offered blessings, and temple officials presented a picture of the Goddess and prasadam to Mr Gokhool.

 

Later, President Gokhool visited the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Mangalagiri in Guntur district. He offered special prayers to the deity along with his wife. The couple was welcomed with a traditional Purna Kumbham by the chief priests.
