President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have extended greetings to citizens on the occasion of Ram Navami. In a message, the President said that the epic life journey of Bhagwan Shri Ram guides us to follow the path of truth, justice and virtue for a meaningful life. The President added that the life of Bhagwan Shri Ram motivates us to discharge our duties towards society. President Murmu also urged the citizens to imbibe the teachings of the great saga of Bhagwan Shri Ram and take a pledge to serve the nation with thoughts, words and deeds.
The Vice-President defined Lord Ram as the symbol of patience, sacrifice, and devotion to justice, who stands as the supreme ideal of justice, truth, and unwavering propriety for all humanity. Mr Radhakrishnan said that Ram’s ideals will continue to inspire countrymen to march forward on the path of social harmony, ethical conduct, and public service for ages to come.
The Vice-President wished that the grace of Lord Ram would ensure the victory of righteousness over unrighteousness, the complete eradication of injustice, arrogance, and unrest from society, the creation of a better society, and the continuous progress of our nation on the path of advancement
Sharing a video on his social media, the Prime Minister said that the life of Maryada Purushottam, filled with sacrifice, austerity, and restraint, is an inspiration to confront every situation with full strength. Mr Modi said that the ideals of Lord Ram will continue to guide not only the people of India but all of humanity for eternity. The Prime Minister wished that by the grace of Lord Ram, the welfare of all may be ensured, paving the way for the fulfillment of the nation’s resolve for a developed and self-reliant India.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah today extended his wishes on the occasion of Ram Navami. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that the life of Maryada Purushottam Ram is an invaluable inspiration for walking the path of truth, righteousness, and duty.
