President Droupadi Murmu will present the 6th National Water Awards in New Delhi on 18th of this month. Briefing media in New Delhi today, Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Paatil said, the awards will be given in ten categories. He also announced the list of winners. Mr Paatil said, in the category of Best State, first prize will be given to Maharashtra, second prize to Gujarat and third prize to Haryana. He said, other categories are, Best District, Best Village Panchayat, Best Urban Local Body, Best School or College, Best Industry, Best Water Users Assotiation, Best Civil Society and Best Individual for excellence in water sector.
