President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Nand Kishor Somani Oncology Block of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram at Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh today. She is also scheduled to visit Udiya Baba Ashram and Davanal Kund. President Murmu will also visit the Samadhi of Neeb Karori Baba in Vrindavan and pay floral tributes.
She visited Prem Mandir and the ISKCON Temple in Vrindavan yesterday and performed Aarti. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel also attended the Aarti. The President is on a three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh beginning yesterday.
Earlier yesterday, President Murmu visited Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir at Ayodhya. She performed Darshan and Aarti at various places within the Ram Janambhoomi Mandir and participated in the Shri Ram Yantra Sthapana event. Speaking on the occasion, the President said that the country is progressing towards the creation of an inclusive society and a developed nation. She expressed confidence that, with the blessings of Lord Ram, the country will achieve these goals by the 2047.
