President Droupadi Murmu will confer the Handicrafts Awards tomorrow in New Delhi, honouring distinguished master craftspersons for 2023 and 2024. In a statement, the Ministry of Textiles said that these prestigious national accolades celebrate exceptional artistic mastery and underscore the Government’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s rich and diverse handicraft heritage. It said that Minister for Textiles, Giriraj Singh and Minister of State for Textiles, Pabitra Margherita, will also attend the award ceremony.
