President Droupadi Murmu today inaugurated the second edition of Bharatiya Kalamahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam at Bollaram in Secunderabad. Speaking on this occasion, the President urged the people to know about the cultural nuances of various places. She recalled various measures taken by the government for enhancing awareness among youth about the cultural diversity in the country. She said, events like Bharatiya Kalamahotsav provides opportunity to know more about the cultural diversity of the country.
Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, Goa Governor P Anandagajapathi Raju, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade, Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat, Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy and Ministers of several states attended the event. Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa and two union Territories are participating in the Bharatiya Kalamahotsav.
