President Droupadi Murmu today attended the first convocation ceremony of AIIMS Rajkot in Gujarat. Around 50 students from the first batch of AIIMS Rajkot will be conferred with degrees. Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel will also grace the event.

The President will participate in the Samajik Samarasata Mahotsav at Lok Bhavan in Gandhinagar tomorrow to mark the birth anniversary of Dr B.R. Ambedkar. Later, she will also attend the fifth convocation ceremony of the Rashtriya Raksha University in Gandhinagar.
