President Droupadi Murmu today expressed grief over the demise of Lok Sabha MP from Shillong Dr Ricky Andrew J Syngkon. In a social media post, President Murmu said that Dr Syngkon contributed to the development of Meghalaya and worked for the welfare of the people. The President also extended her condolences to his family and followers.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed grief over the passing away of Lok Sabha MP from Shillong, Dr. Ricky AJ Syngkon. In a social media post, Prime Minister Modi said that Dr Syngkon will be remembered for his dedicated service to the people of Meghalaya. The Prime Minister also prayed for Dr Syngkon and extended his condolences to his family, friends and supporters during this difficult time.
