President Droupadi Murmu today visited Prem Mandir and ISKCON Temple in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh and performed Aarti. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel also attended the Aarti. The President is on a three day visit to Uttar Pradesh from today.
In the morning, President Murmu visited Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir at Ayodhya. She performed Darshan and Aarti at various places within the Ram Janambhoomi Mandir and participated in the Shri Ram Yantra Sthapana event. Speaking on the occasion, the President said that the country is progressing towards the creation of an inclusive society and a developed nation. She expressed confidence that, with the blessings of Lord Ram, the country will achieve these goals by the 2047.
The President will inaugurate the Nand Kishor Somani Oncology Block of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram at Vrindavan tomorrow. She is also scheduled to visit Udiya Baba Ashram and Davanal Kund. President Murmu will also visit the Samadhi of Neeb Karori Baba in Vrindavan and pay floral tributes. Security has been tightened in the temple town in view of the President’s visit.
