President Droupadi Murmu has paid tribute to freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai on his birth anniversary. In a social media post, the President said, Veer Surendra Sai demonstrated his indomitable courage, bravery, and valour by sustaining the great uprising of 1857 for several days. The President added that his sacrifice and martyrdom will always be remembered by the countrymen.
