President Droupadi Murmu offered prayers at the hill shrine of Sabarimala in Kerala today. The President, who is on a four-day visit to Kerala, reached Pathanamthitta from Thiruvananthapuram and proceeded to Pampa, the base station of the hill shrine by road. Earlier in the morning, Kerala Devaswom Minister V N Vasavan and other senior officials welcomed the President. 

 

 

President Droupadi Murmu reached Pampa Ganapati Temple today and completed the traditional rituals, including the tying of the Irumudi, before proceeding to Sabari Mala Temple. The President proceeded  Sabarimala temple in a special vehicle for the historic visit. The President had darsan at Sabari Mala Sannidhanam before the concluding of Noon Poojas.
