President, Vice President extend Statehood Day greetings to Meghalaya, Tripura & Manipur

President Droupadi Murmu has extended greetings to the people of Meghalaya, Tripura and Manipur on their Statehood Day. In a social media post, President Murmu said that the states are blessed with a rich cultural legacy, vibrant traditions and extraordinary natural beauty. The President said the enterprising and talented people of these States have made remarkable contributions to the nation’s progress. She wished the residents a future filled with peace and prosperity.

Vice President CP Radhakrishnan also extended his greetings to the people of Meghalaya, Tripura and Manipur on their statehood day. In a social media post, the Vice President said these states have strengthened the fabric of India with their rich cultural legacy, unique traditions, linguistic diversity and enterprising people. Mr Radhakrishnan expressed hope that these vibrant states continue to contribute to the country’s progress through inclusive growth, cultural richness and sustainable development.

Home Minister Amit Shah also extended greetings to the States of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura on their Statehood Day. In a series of social media posts, the Home Minister said that Manipur is blessed with a vibrant culture and talented people. He also wished that the state would reach new heights in the coming years.
 
Extending his wishes to the people of Meghalaya, the Home Minister said, the state is a rich biodiversity hotspot, a confluence of cultures and rituals, and adds immense strength to the country’s spirit. Wishing the people of Tripura, Mr Shah said that the state is touching new heights in development and has established itself as a proud contributor to the country’s growth.
