Preparations underway as ministries gear up for Special Campaign 5.0 till October 31

Various Departments in ministries today undertook extensive preparations for Special Campaign 5.0 launched by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. The campaign aims to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and strengthen citizen-centric governance. It also focuses on cleanliness, file management, grievance redressal, and e-waste disposal across all offices. The campaign starting from today will be organized till 31st of this month. During the preparatory phase of Special Campaign 5.0, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers welfare has identified 753 cleanliness sites and 1.7 lakh pending grievances. Department of Food and Public Distribution, has identified 11 references from Members of Parliament, 937 public grievances, 7 State Government references, 15 public grievance appeals and 933 cleanliness sites. The Department of Health and Family Welfare have identified 1 thousand 454 cleanliness sites, 15 thousand 494 physical files and 3 thousand 279 e-files for review. Now, during the end of this month these various departments will clean the identified sites, settle the grievances and review the pending cases.
