Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and stepbrother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, has died at the age of 38. He was taken to Lucknow’s Civil Hospital, where he was declared brought-dead. Post-mortem is underway to establish the cause of death. His wife, Aparna Bisht Yadav, is a BJP member and is currently the vice chairman of the State Women Commission. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over Prateek Yadav’s demise. In a social media post, the Chief Minister said, the sudden demise of Prateek Yadav is extremely heartbreaking. He extended condolences to the bereaved family.
