Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi today said that Doordarshan has stood the test of time due to its emotional connect with the people. He said this while addressing the 66th Foundation Day celebrations of Doordarshan at Akashvani Bhawan in New Delhi. During the event, Mr Dwivedi said that the audience do not just consume content but enjoys an emotional connection with its programming.

 

 

He added that Doordarshan has been a synonym for television in India which is its biggest strength. Mr Dwivedi underlined that the public broadcaster has consistently provided a wide array of programming from news to sports, and from Krishi Darshan to international documentaries. The Prasar Bharati CEO expressed optimism as Doordarshan gears up for the future.
