The Poriborton Yatra of the Bharatiya Janata party BJP resumed today in West Bengal as part of the upcoming Assembly election campaign. The rallies started from nine places in Bengal. Implementation of the 7th Pay Commission for the employees of the government of West Bengal, recruitment for the vacant posts of the state government, eviction of the infiltrators, and securing the borders of West Bengal are among the campaign calls of the Poriborton Yatra.
BJP leaders and Union ministers, including Dr Sukanta Majumdar, Giriraj Singh, Jitin Prasad, Sabitri Thakur, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Puskar Singh Dhami, have participated in the rallies from different places.
