Union Minister of State George Kurian today said that the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana would create more employment opportunities for youth across the country. Addressing a press conference in Kottayam, he said recent changes made to certain central government schemes were aimed at ensuring its benefits reach wider sections of society.

Generating more employment opportunities is a key objective of the Union government, Mr Kurian added. He also criticised the Kerala government, alleging that the state was not making adequate efforts to overcome its financial crisis by effectively implementing central schemes.
