PM Sangrahalaya displays special exhibition on former PM H. D. Deve Gowda on his 93rd birthday

 
The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya today celebrated the 93rd birthday of former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda with a special exhibition showcasing his personal belongings, photographs and important documents. The Sangrahalaya also released a documentary on the former Prime Minister.
Talking to the media, Director of the Prime Minister’s Museum and Library, Ashwini Lohani said that the museum showcases the contributions of all Prime Ministers of India and celebrates their birth anniversaries to connect people with the country’s democratic journey. Mr Lohani said that the exhibition aims to familiarise the younger generation with the life and work of Mr. Deve Gowda and strengthen awareness about India’s democratic traditions. He appealed to citizens, especially youth to visit the museum and witness the evolution of Indian democracy through the contributions of the country’s Prime Ministers.
 
On the occasion of International Museum Day 2026, the Sangrahalaya also organised a month-long exhibition titled Cosmos of Culture, highlighting communities, identity and cultural heritage. The exhibition showcases the ethnographic items from the Collection of Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya.
