Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the iconic monument, Mr Modi saluted the brave soldiers of Operation Sindoor saying that the Operation is a powerful testament to the valour and precision of country’s armed forces.
He said, the government gave the Armed Forces a free hand, allowing them to strategise, set the target, and decide the timing. Prime Minister said, the country’s brave soldiers gave the enemies a befitting reply, beyond their imagination.
He highlighted that Indian Armed forces attacked hundreds of kilometres into enemy territory in Pakistan and turned terrorist headquarters to dust. He said, every Indian was angered by the horrors perpetrated by terrorists in Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor is the expression of their anger.
Mr Modi said that India has now decided, blood and water will not flow together. Mr Modi mentioned the people of the country have now realized that the Indus Waters Treaty was unjust. Prime Minister said that India will no longer tolerate nuclear blackmail.
