Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled inauguration program of the Crude Distillation Unit at the HRRL refinery in Rajasthan has been postponed due to a fire incident today. The fire incident took place in the vicinity of the refinery.

In a social media post, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas informed that the fire has been brought under control and there are no reports of any casualties. The Ministry said that an investigation has been initiated to ascertain the causes of the incident and to undertake necessary remedial measures. A revised date for the dedication will be announced in due course.
