PM Modi Welcomes 20th UNESCO Session on Intangible Cultural Heritage in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed happiness at the commencement of the 20th session of UNESCO’s Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage in the country. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that the forum has brought together delegates from over 150 nations with a vision to protect and popularise shared living traditions. Mr Modi added that it reflects India’s commitment to harnessing the power of culture to connect societies and generations.
 
 
The 20th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage began at Red Fort in New Delhi today.
