Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the country has witnessed a remarkable transformation in the last 11 years. He said, path-breaking initiatives empowered women, youth, and farmers across the country, lifting over 25 crore people out of poverty. In a series of social media posts, Mr. Modi said India stands as a bright spot in the global economy. He said the country is home to major healthcare and social security schemes. He pointed out that the government has taken extensive reforms, and the popular sentiment is to make India Aatmanirbhar across all sectors, reflecting in the clarion call of Garv Se Kaho, Yeh Swadeshi Hai.
Emphasising that the values of the Constitution remain his constant guide, Mr Modi affirmed his commitment to work even harder in the coming years to realise the collective dream of a Viksit Bharat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed gratitude to the people as he enters into 25th year of serving the nation as the head of the government. The Prime Minister thanked people for their continuous trust and affection. He said, serving the nation is the highest honour, a duty that fills him with gratitude and purpose.

Remembering his journey, he recalled that when he took over as Chief Minister of Gujarat, many believed Gujarat could never rise again. Common citizens, including farmers, often voiced concerns about the lack of power and water. Agriculture was struggling, and industrial growth had come to a standstill. He pointed out that with collective efforts, he transformed Gujarat into a powerhouse of good governance.
The Prime Minister said, Gujarat, once a drought-prone state, emerged as a top performer in agriculture. He said that the state’s trading culture evolved into strong industrial and manufacturing capacities. Remembering 2013, when he was chosen as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He said the nation faced a crisis of trust and governance, as the UPA government was mired in corruption, cronyism, and policy paralysis at that time. He said, people of India gave NDA a thumping majority and also ensured that the BJP Party got an absolute majority.
