Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have congratulated all the Padma Awardees for their outstanding contributions to the nation. In a social media post, the Vice President noted that the outstanding contributions and dedicated service of the awardees have enriched the nation in multiple fields. Further congratulating recipients, Mr Radhakrishnan conveyed his best wishes to all the awardees and their families.
The Prime Minister has said that the excellence, dedication and service of the awardees across diverse fields enrich the fabric of society. He noted that the honour reflects the spirit of commitment and excellence that continues to inspire generations.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Padma Award recipients are torchbearers of social change who, through exceptional accomplishments, game-changing innovations, and tireless commitment, have driven national progress across diverse fields. He noted that the awards reflect Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming the People’s Padma into a means of strengthening the spirit of nation-building by inspiring millions to pursue the path of positive social change.
