Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in CEOs roundtable at Semicon India 2025 in New Delhi today. The CEO roundtable will bring together industry leaders to discuss India’s semiconductor ecosystem and its growth and development. During the roundtable meeting, Mr Modi will interact with CEOs from across the world.

The 3-day Semicon India 2025 conference was inaugurated by Mr Modi at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi yesterday. The conference is aimed at positioning India as a trusted partner in the global semiconductor supply chain.

During the inauguration of the Semicon India conference, the Prime Minister emphasised India’s potential to become a significant player in the global semiconductor market, which is expected to surpass 1 trillion dollars in the coming years. Mr Modi highlighted the government’s efforts to streamline processes, reduce paperwork, and provide plug-and-play infrastructure for investors. The Prime Minister also urged young entrepreneurs and start-ups to leverage India’s semiconductor design talent and innovation ecosystem.
