Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana and Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses on Saturday in New Delhi. Briefing media in New Delhi today, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, country is self reliant in wheat and rice production but now, the country will also become self reliant in pulses. He stressed that area under pulses cultivation will be increased in the country. The Minister said that under the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana scheme is aimed to enhance productivity, promote crop diversification, improve irrigation and storage.
